Trauma

Trauma can result from a wide range of experiences—abuse, accidents, loss, violence, neglect, or any situation that overwhelms your sense of safety and control. Its impact can be lasting, affecting your emotions, relationships, physical health, and sense of self. You may find yourself struggling with anxiety, flashbacks, emotional numbness, or difficulty trusting others.

Trauma counselling offers a safe, supportive, and confidential space to begin healing. Together, we work at a pace that honours your story, helping you process painful memories, develop coping strategies, and rebuild a sense of safety, identity, and hope. My approach is gentle, trauma-informed, and grounded in empathy.

For those who wish, I also offer faith-integrated support, drawing on Christian values of restoration, grace, and hope in the healing journey. You are not defined by what happened to you—and healing is possible.
